Notice of Public Hearing

Notice is hereby provided that in accordance with G.L. c. 30A § 2, the Massachusetts Gaming Commission (“Commission”) will convene a public hearing for purposes of gathering comments, ideas, and information relative to proposed amendments to 205 CMR.  The proposals were developed pursuant to G.L. c. 23K § 5, as part of the Commission’s regulation promulgation process.  The proposal includes the following amendment:

205 CMR 133.04: Voluntary Self-Exclusion; Duration of Exclusion and Removal from the ListThe proposed amendment would revise the period between the reinstatement session and re-entry onto the gaming floor after removal from the Voluntary Self-Exclusion list, to establish uniform procedures.

205 CMR 134.09: Investigation, Determination, and Appeals for Gaming Establishment Employees and VendorsThe proposed amendment clarifies provisions in the existing regulations regarding the handling of information and records pertaining to sealed and expunged records by the Investigations and Enforcement Bureau as part of suitability investigations.
