The Massachusetts Gaming Commission is hereby requesting comment on the following draft regulation amendments:
- 205 CMR 3.00 DRAFT: Harness Horse Racing
The amendments describe Veterinary practices, set up conditions that allow for the use of therapeutic medications, reduce penalties for multiple medication violations, change the Furosemide dosage to 500 mg, expand criteria for out of competition testing, and allow judges to use environmental contaminants and substances of human use as possibilities for mitigating circumstances in disciplinary actions. - 205 CMR 4.00 DRAFT: Rules of Horse Racing

The amendments clarify licensee and qualifier reporting and update requirements to the Investigations and Enforcement Bureau. - 205 CMR 134.04 DRAFT: Licensing and Registration of Employees, Vendors, Junket Enterprises and Representatives, and Labor Organizations
The amendments remove outside directors and sales representatives as automatic gaming vendor qualifiers. - 205 CMR 141.00 DRAFT: Surveillance of the Gaming Establishment
The amendments update the surveillance regulations to conform to best practices within the industry. - 205 CMR 143.02 DRAFT: Gaming Devices and Electronic Gaming Equipment
The amendments supplement the previously adopted GLI (Gaming Laboratory International) standards pertaining to progressive slot machines and wide area progressive slot machines.

Comments must be received by Friday, August 18, 2017, at 4:00pm. The Commission will review any comments received, and update the draft regulations where appropriate.
