Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on October 9, 2025; Conference Call Available

Once the meeting is called to order, the Commission will review minutes from May 9, 2024, May 23, 2024, September 9, 2025, and September 11, 2025.

Commissioners then expect to hear a presentation on Sports Wagering VIP Programs from Carrie Torrisi, Division Chief of Sports Wagering, and Mark Vander Linden, Director of Research and Responsible Gaming.

The Investigations and Enforcement Bureau will follow with briefings on several noncompliance matters. The meeting will then enter executive session to discuss the durable suitability investigation process for sports wagering vendors. Upon returning to public session, the IEB will conclude its portion of the meeting with a discussion regarding the term of sports wagering vendor licenses, as outlined in 205 CMR 234, including potential amendments to the regulation.

The Legal Division will then lead discussions with commissioners on several regulations. The meeting is then expected to enter another executive session for a discussion on litigation strategy and to review minutes from previous executive sessions.

The meeting will then be shifted to the Community Affairs Division upon return to public session. Community Affairs will lead a discussion on the FY2027 Community Mitigation Fund guidelines, among other matters.

The Finance Division will then present the FY2025 Budget Closeout Report, as well as the FY2026 Q1 Report.

Commissioner Updates are expected to follow, rounding out the meeting.
