Today, after deliberation, the Massachusetts Gaming Commission approved by a vote of 3 to 0 to grant interim authorization for the transfer of MGM Springfield from MGM Growth Properties (MGP) to VICI Properties; both are Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT). A decision relative to final approval of the transaction will be forthcoming upon the completion of the background investigation.
