What you need to know
- Internships with the Massachusetts Gaming Commission are available for Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters.
- Positions are open across the agency in various divisions, including Communications, Finance, Community Affairs, IT, Legal, Sports Wagering, Research and Responsible Gaming and more.
- Please include a cover letter with your application that explains why you are interested in interning at the Massachusetts Gaming Commission, what you hope to gain from your internship and what department(s) you are interested in.
- Interns must pass a background check conducted by the Massachusetts State Police.

Summer Internship
Internships for the summer run from June until August.

Fall Internship
Internships for the fall semester run from September until December.
Applications for the fall semester are accepted between June and August. Please check back in June to apply for Fall 2026.
Spring Internship
Internships for the spring semester run from January until May.
Applications for the spring semester are accepted between September and November. Please check back in September to apply for Spring 2026.
