The Massachusetts Gaming Commission was pleased to sponsor the 2018 Commonwealth Workforce Coalition Conference. Additionally, Director of Workforce, Supplier, and Diversity Development Jill Griffin led a workshop called “Beat The Odds – Increasing Access to Gaming Industry Jobs”, providing workforce development councils and career centers with crucial information about recent updates to MGC’s licensing and registration requirements. MGM Springfield General Manager Alex Dixon also informed attendees about the MGM Springfield timeline, categories of job opportunities now available at the resort-casino, and the career pathways available for employees at MGM Springfield.
