Speaking Engagement: Commissioner Bruce Stebbins to Address Veterans at the Department of Veterans’ Services Annual Training

WHO: Massachusetts Gaming Commission Commissioner, Bruce Stebbins; MGC Director of Workforce, Suppplier and Diversity Development Jill Griffin; representatives from MGM Springfield, Wynn Boston Harbor and Plainridge Park Casino; Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office Chief Legal Counsel William McAvoy, representatives from the Massachusetts Department of Veterans’ Services and approximately 150 local Veterans’ Service Officers from communities across Massachusetts.
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) is committed to ensuring that Massachusetts veterans benefit from the opportunities afforded by the state’s new expanded gaming industry. At this event, Commissioner Stebbins will provide veterans with information about the opportunities available and the process by which to get licensed or registered by the MGC. Commissioner Stebbins’ remarks will be followed by presentations from the state’s current gaming licensees. The Commission participates in numerous statewide speaking engagements to keep the public informed on the status of the state’s gaming industry and to raise awareness about the employment and vendor opportunities now available.
