Save the Date: resort-casino applicants to publicly present final gaming proposals to MassGaming

MGM Springfield, Mohegan Sun and Wynn MA LLC to give ninety-minute presentations before the Commission

 

WHO:             Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chairman Steve Crosby; Commissioner Gayle Cameron; Commissioner James McHugh, Commissioner Bruce Stebbins and Commissioner Enrique Zuniga and representatives from MGM Springfield, Mohegan Sun, and Wynn MA LLC

WHAT:          The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will host an open meeting on Wednesday, January 22nd. The public meeting will include 90-minute presentations of final gaming proposals from each of the three resort-casino applicants from Region A (Eastern MA) and Region B (Western MA). Upon recent receipt of the final applications, the Commission entered the evaluation phase of the licensing process.  During the ‘Evaluation Process’, evaluation teams will assess each application based on the established key evaluation criteria.  The Commission anticipates awarding the resort-casino licenses for Region A/B by May 2014.
