Research Highlight: SEIGMA team releases COVID-19 Impact Report

During a public meeting on Thursday, April 14, the Massachusetts Gaming Commission highlighted the most recent research project promoted by the MGC.

That research, presented in a report known as the SEIGMA COVID-19 Impact Report, focuses on the social and economic impacts of COVID-19 on the Commission’s three licensees. It was prepared by the UMass Donahue Institute’s Economic and Public Policy Research Group for the University of Massachusetts School of Public Health and Health Sciences’ Social and Economic Impacts of Gambling in Massachusetts [SEIGMA] study.
The team put forth the following content for the research:
