The Massachusetts Gaming Commission is seeking public comment on the consequences of mandatory criminal disqualifiers under M.G.L ch. 23k 16(b) on applicants for Gaming Service Employee jobs. Comments supported by data would be most useful. The Commission is considering what, if any, discretion it has under the law in this area.
If it is determined that the Commission has discretion in this area, the Commission will determine what policies should be considered and implemented relative to the requirements and disqualifications of Gaming Service Employees for registration.
Please email comments to mgccomments@state.ma.us with ‘gaming service employee registration’ in the subject line by COB May 19, 2017, or mail them to 101 Federal Street, 12th Floor, Boston, MA, 02110. The Commission will review any comments received, and discuss at an upcoming public meeting on May 25, 2017.
