A Request for Public Comment: Draft regulation amendments pertaining to gaming day, gaming school curriculum

The Massachusetts Gaming Commission hereby requests public comments on the following draft regulation amendments:

  • 205 CMR 138.28, 138.33, 138.68, 140.02 DRAFT AMENDMENTS.
    The amendments address such things as the establishment of a gaming day by the gaming licensee, and procedures to ensure that all funds located inside a slot machine are properly accounted for. These regulations are authorized pursuant to G.L. c.23K, §§4(37) and 5.
  • 205 CMR 137.02 DRAFT AMENEDMENTS.
    This amendment clarifies the mandate pertaining to the responsible gaming component of a gaming school curriculum. This regulation is authorized pursuant to G.L. c.23K. 4§§(37) and 5.

Anyone wishing to offer comment on any of the draft regulations may appear at the public hearing on January 28, 2017 at 10:00am. Those who wish to submit written comments on the draft regulation may do so by sending an email to mgccomments@state.ma.us with “draft regulations comment” in the subject line or mailing them to Massachusetts Gaming Commission, 101 Federal Street, 12th Floor, Boston. Please be certain to identify in your comments the section number of the regulation on which you are commenting. Comments must be received by 4:00 pm on Friday, January 26, 2018.
