UPDATE – A Request for Public Comment: Draft Section 61 Findings for Wynn MA, LLC casino project

The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (“Commission”) plans to consider Draft Section 61 Findings for the Wynn MA, LLC casino project proposed for Everett, Massachusetts at a Commission meeting on March 22, 2016. The Commission held a public hearing on such Draft Section 61 Findings on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 5:00pm at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (“BCEC”), 415 Summer Street, Boston, MA 02210.
In order to promote greater public input, a copy of the Draft Section 61 Findings prepared by the Commission’s consultants prior to the March 22, 2016 review by the Commission (“Preview Draft”) has been posted on the Commission’s Website.
The Massachusetts Gaming Commission seeks written comment on the Preview Draft and Draft Section 61 Findings, for the Wynn MA, LLC casino project. These comments will be reviewed and considered in the development of the final Section 61 Findings. The Commission will consider comments emailed to mgccomments@state.ma.us with “Draft Section 61 – Wynn” in the subject line. Comments may also be sent via U.S. mail to Massachusetts Gaming Commission, 101 Federal Street, 12th Floor, Boston, MA 02110 Attn: Catherine Blue, General Counsel. Public comments must be received by 4:00pm, Monday, April 11, 2016.
