MGC to hold public meeting on 3/1, TOPICS: MGM Springfield, Sports Betting White Paper and Plainridge Park Casino

WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chairman Steve Crosby, Commissioner Gayle Cameron, Commissioner Lloyd MacDonald, Commissioner Bruce Stebbins and Commissioner Enrique Zuniga
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) will hold its 237TH open public meeting on THURSDAY, MARCH 1, 2018.
The meeting will begin with a discussion about regulatory preparations for MGM Springfield’s opening. MGC staff will then present the Commission with a white paper on sports betting.
Representatives from Plainridge Park Casino will present a Quarterly Report.
Lastly, MGC’s Director of Research and Responsible Gaming Mark Vander Linden will lead a discussion on several topics including a review of an updated Responsible Gaming Framework, the two-year public safety impact report for Plainridge Park Casino and National Problem Gambling Awareness Month.
