Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meetings on July 12, 2023; Conference Call Available

WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chair Cathy Judd-Stein and Commissioners Brad Hill, Jordan Maynard, Eileen O’Brien, and Nakisha Skinner
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public meeting #465 and public meeting #466 on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., respectively.
Wednesday’s first open meeting will begin at 10 a.m. with the Chair’s call to order. Following that, Executive Director Karen Wells will provide an administrative update.
The Commission will then discuss three legal regulations:
- 205 CMR 222: Capital Investment and Monitoring of Project Construction
- 205 CMR 239: Continuing Disclosure and Reporting Obligations of Sports Wagering Licenses
- 205 CMR 256.01: Sports Wagering Advertising
Commissioner Updates are expected to follow, where the MGC will say farewell to Executive Director Wells on her last day with the Commission.
Later that afternoon, public meeting #466 will convene at 3 p.m. After the meeting is called to order, the Commission is expected to move into Executive Session for the Interim Executive Director contract discussions.
There is also time allotted near the end of both meetings for any other business that the Chair did not reasonably anticipate at the time of their postings.
The Commission reserves the right to vote on these or other matters during the meetings.
