Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on September 10, 2026; Conference Call Available

Once the meeting is called to order, Executive Director Dean Serpa will present an administrative update. There will then be a review of meeting minutes from previous public meetings on July 28 and August 13, 2026.
The Commission will then hear from the Racing Division as well as the Standardbred Owners of Massachusetts.
The Community Affairs Division will present MGM Springfield’s Q2 2026 Quarterly Report.
The Sports Wagering Division will follow with a request for a temporary waiver from 205 CMR 247.07. There will also be updates to Caesars’ house rules.
Research and Responsible Gaming will then hold a discussion regarding membership with the National Council on Problem Gaming.
Commissioners will then hear discussions and reviews of regulation 205 CMR 255.00: Play Management. This will be followed by a request for a new table game variation for midi baccarat and mini baccarat.
The Investigations and Enforcement Bureau will present the year-end 2025 gaming financial review in an executive session.
A litigation update will follow, and an executive session will also be convened.
Commissioner updates are expected to follow, rounding out the meeting.
There is time reserved at the end of the meeting for any other business the Chair did not reasonably anticipate at the time of posting.
