Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on October 22, 2026; Conference Call Available

Once the meeting is called to order, Commissioners will review meeting minutes from a previous public meeting on September 24, 2026. There will also be an administrative update on the impact of Encore Boston Harbor labor discussions.
The Research and Responsible Gaming Division will then present a report titled, “Understanding youth gambling behavior using data from the Springfield Prevention Needs Assessment Survey.” There will also be a presentation of PlayWell’s first quarter in FY2027.
The Finance Division will follow with the FY2026 close out report. Commissioners will then hear from the Sports Wagering Division with updates to Encore Boston Harbor’s house rules.
The Legal Division will then discuss and review the following regulations: 205 CMR 116.08: Notice, and 205 CMR 229.01: Notice.
Commissioner updates are expected to follow, rounding out the meeting.
There is time reserved at the end of the meeting for any other business the Chair did not reasonably anticipate at the time of posting.
