Registration Remains Open for the MGC’s May 14 Conference on Examining Social Impacts of Sports Betting and Changing Gambling Landscape

Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on November 19; Conference Call Available

WHO:               Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chair Cathy Judd-Stein and Commissioners Gayle Cameron, Eileen O’Brien, Bruce Stebbins, and Enrique Zuniga 

WHAT:              The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public meeting #327 on Thursday, November 19, 2020.

After an approval of minutes, members from the MGC’s Investigations and Enforcement Bureau will provide on-site casino updates.

Division of Community Affairs Chief Joe Delaney will introduce representatives from Encore Boston Harbor and Plainridge Park Casino for each property’s quarterly report.

Director of Workforce, Supplier and Diversity Development Jill Griffin will request that the Commission vote on the following:

  • Plainridge Park Casino Operations Goods and Services – VOTE
  • Plainridge Park Casino Tourism Plan – VOTE

Members of the MGC’s Division of Community Affairs will ask for a Commission vote on the 2021 Community Mitigation Fund Guidelines.

Executive Director Karen Wells and Director Griffin will lead a follow-up discussion on the MGC’s Equity and Inclusion Working Group.

Commissioner Zuniga will then provide a draft review of the MGC’s upcoming Annual Report.
