Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on morning of September 12, 2022; Conference Call Available

WHO:                  Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chair Cathy Judd-Stein and Commissioners Brad Hill, Jordan Maynard, Eileen O’Brien, and Nakisha Skinner

WHAT:                    The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public meeting #391 on Monday, September 12, 2022.

After the meeting is called to order, Mark Vander Linden, the Director of the MGC’s Research & Responsible Gaming team, will cover the launch of PlayMyWay at Encore Boston Harbor.

Following that part of the meeting, Dr. Alex Lightbown, Director of Racing for the MGC, will head the Racing Division’s portion of the meeting, which will cover Standard Owners of Massachusetts Recognition Request as Breeders’ Representative Group ahead of an anticipated vote. Also covered will be a Review of Revisions to Draft Application for License to Hold or Conduct a Racing Meeting for Future Applicants; a vote is expected following that conversation as well.

The Commission is then expected to vote to go into Executive Session to review minutes from previous executive sessions convened, to discuss strategy with respect to Massachusetts Gaming Commission v. Landmark American Insurance Co., and to discuss strategy with respect to FBT Everett Realty, LLC v. Massachusetts Gaming Commission.

The public session of the Commission meeting will not reconvene at the conclusion of the executive session.
