Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on May 7, 2026; Conference Call Available

Once the meeting is called to order, the Commission will review the April 9, 2026, meeting minutes.

Commissioners then expect to hear from the Research and Responsible Gaming Division. The Boston University School of Public Health will introduce and present initial data from the Healthy Minds Study. There will also be a presentation on PlayWell’s FY2026 third quarter.

The Finance Division will follow with a FY2026 third-quarter budget update of the MGC.

The meeting will then shift to the Sports Wagering Division to address several items, including a request from MGM Springfield to pay lost tickets and updates to house rules for MGM Springfield, BetMGM, and FanDuel. There are also requests from multiple operators for temporary waivers from Amended 205 CMR 247.07 and 248.10, related to Debit Access Instruments.

The Investigations and Enforcement Bureau will then brief the commissioners on a noncompliance matter involving Caesars Sportsbook. The meeting is then expected to enter executive session to discuss and review the IEB’s proposed attestation regarding illegal gaming and sports wagering.

Once the meeting returns to the public, the Legal Division will follow with discussions on 205 CMR 133.02: Placement on the Self-Exclusion List and 205 CMR 147.03: Notice and Patron Access.

The meeting is then expected to enter executive session to review minutes from previous executive sessions.

Commissioner updates are expected to follow, rounding out the meeting.
There is time reserved at the end of the meeting for any other business the Chair did not reasonably anticipate at the time of posting.
