Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on May 21, 2026; Conference Call Available

Once the meeting is called to order, the Commission will review the April 23, 2026, meeting minutes.

Commissioners then expect to hear from the Research and Responsible Gaming Division regarding the presentation of the report, “Potential Impacts of iGaming on Public Health in Massachusetts.”

The Community Affairs Division will follow up with Encore Boston Harbor’s quarterly report.

Commissioners will then hear from the Sports Wagering Division about several agenda items. These items include, but are not limited to, updates to the house rules, an executive session to discuss DraftKings’ request to use an alternate KYC identity method, and a discussion of the UFC 250 Freedom Event.

The Investigations and Enforcement Bureau will then present Encore Boston Harbor’s request for a service registration exemption and Plainridge Park Casino’s request for an amendment to the beverage license.

The Legal Division will then lead a discussion and review of 205 CMR 3.00: Harness Horse Racing. The meeting is then expected to enter executive session to review minutes from previous executive sessions on February 26, 2026, and April 9, 2026.

Commissioner updates are expected to follow, rounding out the meeting.

There is time reserved at the end of the meeting for any other business the Chair did not reasonably anticipate at the time of posting.
