WHAT:                The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public meeting #442 on Thursday, March 9, 2023.

After the meeting is called to order, the Commission will review meeting minutes from a previous Massachusetts Gaming Commission meeting held on October 20, 2022.

Following that, the Commission will hear from representatives from the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General regarding sports wagering regulations.

The Sports Wagering Division will then lead head the next portion of the meeting. The Investigations and Enforcement Bureau is then set to report on non-compliance with the approved Massachusetts Sports Wagering Catalog, which had been reported to the Commission during a previous public meeting.

Community Affairs will then lead a discussion regarding a request by the City of Medford to repurpose Community Mitigation Funds.

Following that, the Research and Responsible Gaming team will cover the proposed FY24 research agenda.

Commissioner Updates are set to follow, ahead of an anticipated Executive Session to discuss strategy relative to potential litigation related to the employment status and associated circumstances pertaining to a former racing official.

There is time allowed at the end of the meeting for any other business that the Chair did not reasonably anticipate at the time of posting. The Commission reserves the right to vote on these or other matters during the meeting.
