Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on June 3, 2021; Conference Call Available

WHO:               Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chair Cathy Judd-Stein and Commissioners Gayle Cameron, Eileen O’Brien and Enrique Zuniga 

WHAT:              The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public meeting #346 on Thursday, June 3, 2021.

After an approval of minutes, Executive Director Karen Wells will provide an administrative update, which will include the following:

  • Communications Department Presentation
  • Staff Recognition
  • On-site Casino Updates
  • MGC Internal COVID Workspace Guidelines Discussion

Members of the MGC’s Legal Division and Executive Director Wells will lead an overview of the public records law process, followed by a discussion related to non-disclosure agreements. Commissioner O’Brien and Associate General Council Carrie Torrisi will also discuss a police reform bill.

The MGC’s Investigations and Enforcement Bureau will ask that the Commission vote on a qualifier related to Plainridge Park Casino.

Members of the MGC’s Finance Division and Commissioner Zuniga will then discuss the MGC’s budget for FY22.

Community Affairs Division Chief Joe Delaney, alongside Senior Program Manager Mary Thurlow, Director of Diversity and Legislative Affairs Jill Griffin, and Program Manager Crystal Howard, will ask that the Commission vote on Workforce Application updates related to the 2021 Community Mitigation Fund.

The Community Affairs Division will then provide a summary report on the applications for the 2021 Community Mitigation Fund.
