Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on June 16 in first of week’s three public meetings; Conference Call Available

WHO:                   Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chair Cathy Judd-Stein and Commissioners Gayle Cameron, Eileen O’Brien, Bruce Stebbins, and Enrique Zuniga 

WHAT:                The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public meeting #306 on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.

After the meeting is called to order, Dr. Alex Lightbown, the MGC’s Director of Racing, will lead a roundtable discussion regarding racing at Plainridge Park Casino.

Following the discussion, it is expected that the Commission will vote on the following:

  • Plainridge Park Racecourse Request for Approval of Racing Officials and Key Operating Personnel – VOTE
  • Plainridge Park Request for Waiver of Qualifying Race Requirement – VOTE
  • Standard Owners of Massachusetts (SOM) Recognition Request as Breeder’s Representative Group – VOTE
