Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on June 15, 2023; Conference Call Available

WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chair Cathy Judd-Stein and Commissioners Brad Hill, Jordan Maynard, Eileen O’Brien, and Nakisha Skinner
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public meeting #459 on Thursday, June 15, 2023.
After the meeting is called to order, the Commission will review meeting minutes from previously held Commission meetings from December 15, 2022 and December 29, 2022. Commissioner Updates are expected to follow.
MGC Executive Director Karen Wells will then lead an Administrative Update, where the Commission is expected to review it’s COVID-19 Policy. A legislative update is expected to follow that portion of the meeting.
The Commission will then turn to the succession of officers and positions document distribution before the Community Affairs Division is slated to present Community Mitigation Fund Public Safety application reviews.
The Sports Wagering Division will then cover a request for uniform waivers to extend effective dates. Following that, the Legal Division will provide a review of two regulations as well as a request for approval of Bulletproof as a Qualified Independent Technical Expert.
There is also time allotted near the end of the meeting for any other business that the Chair did not reasonably anticipate at the time of posting.
The Commission reserves the right to vote on these or other matters during the meeting.
