Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on July 31, 2025; Conference Call Available

Once the meeting is called to order, the Commission will review minutes from previous Commission meetings on January 20, 2023, July 1, 2024, July 24, 2024, and July 15, 2025.

The Research and Responsible Gaming Division will follow with the presentation of two reports. The first report is titled Sports Betting in Massachusetts: 2023 Economic Impacts Report, and the second report is titled Current Trends in Gambling, Sports Betting and Problem Gambling in Massachusetts, 2022-2024.

The Sports Wagering Division will then present the Commission with an update to Fanatics’ House Rules

Commissioners then expect to hear from the Legal Division for discussion and review of the following regulations:

  • 205 CMR 239.07: Audit of Operator Operations by Commission
  • 205 CMR 3.11: General Rules
  • 205 CMR 3.14: Licenses, Registrations and Fees for Participants in Racing
  • 205 CMR 248.12: Account Withdrawals

The meeting will shift to Community Affairs for a discussion on modifications to Community Mitigation Fund grants, specifically the City of Springfield’s 2020 Parking Authority Grant, the Town of Saugus’s 2022 Public Safety Grant, and the Attorney General’s Office FY2026 Grant.

The meeting is then expected to enter an executive session to review minutes from previous executive sessions on September 18, 2023, and February 7, 2024.

Commissioner Updates are expected to follow, rounding out the meeting.
