WHO:                       Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chair Cathy Judd-Stein and Commissioners Brad Hill, Eileen O’Brien and Nakisha Skinner

WHAT:                    The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public meeting #384 on Tuesday, July 12, 2022.

After the meeting is called to order, the commissioners and the Chair will hold votes on approving meeting minutes for previous held Commission meetings on October 7, 2021 and May 25, 2022.

Following those votes, Executive Director Karen Wells will lead an Administrative Update that will cover On-Site Casino Updates.

Dr. Alex Lightbown, the Director of Racing and the Chief Veterinarian for the MGC, will lead the Racing Division’s portion of the meeting, which will cover a Request for Promotional Fund Consideration as well as Local Aid ahead of two anticipated votes on those topics.

The Legal Division is then set to hold discussions on two topics, both of which come ahead of likely votes by the Commission. Those topics are: Adoption of Policy Language from 205 CMR 103.03, 103.13, and 103.21; and 205 CMR 138.00: Licensee’s System of Internal Controls.

Director Mark Vander Linden and the rest of the Research and Responsible Gaming Team will then lead the RRG team’s portion of the event, where the GameSense Quarterly Report will be covered.

The Investigations and Enforcement Bureau will then discuss the Civil Penalties and Fines Process and Policy ahead of a likely vote.

Commissioner Updates are set to follow, rounding out the open meeting with discussions on the Independent Monitor’s Budget Update and a Legislative Update.

There is also time reserved at the end of the meeting for matters the Chair did not reasonably anticipate at the time of posting.
