Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on July 11, 2023; Conference Call Available

WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chair Cathy Judd-Stein and Commissioners Brad Hill, Jordan Maynard, Eileen O’Brien, and Nakisha Skinner
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public meeting #464 on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.
After the meeting is called to order, the Commission will vote on meeting minutes from a previously held Commission meeting on January 12, 2023. Following that, Executive Director Karen Wells will provide an administrative update.
The Commission will then discuss the succession of officers and positions before the Sports Wagering Division begins the following portion of the meeting.
Sports Wagering is set to discuss an event catalog addition request, an update to house rules, and a request for temporary waivers.
The Community Affairs Division is expected to follow, where they will continue the discussion on the Encore Boston Harbor East of Broadway Expansion.
Commissioners are then set to discuss the search for a permanent Executive Director, which will include consideration of the Executive Director search process as well as a review of the Executive Director job description.
Commissioner Updates are expected to follow, rounding out the meeting.
There is also time allotted near the end of the meeting for any other business that the Chair did not reasonably anticipate at the time of posting.
The Commission reserves the right to vote on these or other matters during the meeting.
