WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chair Cathy Judd-Stein and Commissioners Gayle Cameron, Eileen O’Brien, Bruce Stebbins, and Enrique Zuniga
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public meeting #275 on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
The meeting will begin with an update and vote on Encore Boston Harbor’s Suitability Decision Condition regarding the Independent Monitor request for proposal.
Representatives from the Town of Plainville will provide a presentation to the Commission about the town’s new municipal complex. Plainridge Park Casino representatives will present the casino’s Quarterly Report.
Karen Wells, director of the Investigations and Enforcement Bureau, will request that the Commission vote on Junket Licensing and Reporting Requirements.
Mark Vander Linden, director of Research and Responsible Gaming, will request that the Commission vote on a Gaming Research Update and FY20 Plan.
Executive Director Ed Bedrosian will then provide a general administrative update, followed by an approval of minutes.
General Counsel Catherine Blue will request that the Commission vote on several amended Small Business Impact Statements to include the following:
- Final Draft Version of 205 CMR 6.35: Pick (n) Pools and Amended Small Business Impact Statement – VOTE to complete the promulgation process
- Final Draft Version of 205 CMR 102.02: Definitions and Amended Small Business Impact Statement – VOTE to complete the promulgation process
- Final Draft Version of 205 CMR 143.02: Progressive Gaming Devices and Amended Small Business Impact Statement – VOTE to complete the promulgation process
- Final Draft Version of 205 CMR 152.00: Individuals Excluded from a Gaming Establishment and Amended Small Business Impact Statement – VOTE to complete the promulgation process
