Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on August 13; Conference Call Available

WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chair Cathy Judd-Stein and Commissioners Gayle Cameron, Eileen O’Brien, Bruce Stebbins, and Enrique Zuniga
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public meeting #315 on Thursday, August 13, 2020.
After an approval of minutes, Interim Executive Director Karen Wells will provide an administrative update on the following:
- General Casino Reopening Update
- Craps and Roulette Request – VOTE
- Poker Status
Interim General Counsel Todd Grossman will also provide a legislative development update.
Director of Racing Dr. Alex Lightbown, alongside Financial Analyst Chad Bourque, will ask that the Commission vote on a racing local aid payment.
Construction Project Oversight Manager Joseph Delaney will present a schedule for Plainridge Park Casino’s relicensing process.
Interim General Counsel Grossman will ask that the Commission vote on the election of a Secretary/Treasurer.
Chair Judd-Stein and Commissioner Zuniga will give a preliminary update on the recent formation of a Working Group on Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace.
Chair Judd-Stein and Commissioner O’Brien will then update the Commission on the Independent Monitor for Wynn MA, LLC.
