Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on April 6, 2023; Conference Call Available

WHO:                     Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chair Cathy Judd-Stein and Commissioners Brad Hill, Jordan Maynard, Eileen O’Brien, and Nakisha Skinner

WHAT:                The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public meeting #447 on Thursday, April 6, 2023.

After the meeting is called to order, the Commission will vote on meeting minutes from a previously held Mass Gaming Commission (MGC) meeting from November 10, 2022.

Following that, the Licensing Division will hold a discussion regarding a beverage license amendment request by Encore Boston Harbor.

The Sports Wagering Division will then lead the next portion of the meeting, which will cover the approval of House Rules for multiple sports wagering licensees: WynnBET, Caesars Sportsbook, BetMGM, and MGM Springfield. They will then turn to the approval of new events for the MGC’s Sports Wagering Catalog.

The Investigations and Enforcement Bureau is then set to follow, where they will lead a discussion regarding a sports-wagering-related suitability investigation. The Commission is then expected to meet in Executive Session following that conversation to discuss investigatory materials related to the issuance of a sports wagering license.

There is time allotted near the end of the meeting for Commissioner Updates as well as any other business that the Chair did not reasonably anticipate at the time of posting.

The Commission reserves the right to vote on these or other matters during the meeting.
