Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on April 23; Conference Call Available

WHO:                   Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chair Cathy Judd-Stein and Commissioners Gayle Cameron, Eileen O’Brien, Bruce Stebbins, and Enrique Zuniga 

WHAT:                The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public meeting #298 on Thursday, April 23, 2020.

After an approval of minutes and Administrative Update from Interim Executive Director Karen Wells, Director of Research and Responsible Gaming Mark Vander Linden will discuss a request from Encore Boston Harbor to delay their launch of the PlayMyWay program. A vote on this matter is anticipated.

Interim General Counsel Todd Grossman will ask that the Commission vote on the following:

  • Licensing and Registration for Vendors and Employees – Review of the Status and Terms of Licenses and Registrations – VOTE
  • 205 CMR 109.01: Authority of Commission to Act in Emergency Situation; initial review of the draft regulation, and Small Business Impact Statement – VOTE to begin the promulgation process
