Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on 8/10, TOPICS: Quarterly Reports from Wynn Boston Harbor and MGM Springfield, Horse Racing, Vendor Certification Updates and Regulations

WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chairman Stephen Crosby, Commissioner Gayle Cameron, Commissioner Lloyd MacDonald, Commissioner Bruce Stebbins and Commissioner Enrique Zuniga
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) will hold its 223rd open public meeting on THURSDAY, August 10, 2017.
MGC Research and Responsible Gaming Director Mark Vander Linden will offer an update from the Department of Public Health and will brief the Commission about the results of efforts to promote Responsible Gaming Education Week.
MGC Racing Director Alex Lightbown will present two requests from Suffolk Downs that will each require a Commission vote.
Wynn Boston Harbor and MGM Springfield will present Quarterly Reports.
The Commission will receive updates on supplier diversity-related matters including Veteran Business Enterprise Certification and Portuguese Business Enterprise.
The Legal Division will request the Commission’s final draft approval on Small Business Impact Statement- 205 CMR 134.00: Licensing and Registration of Employees, Vendors, Junket Enterprises and Representatives, and Labor Organizations.
