WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chairman Steve Crosby, Commissioner Gayle Cameron, Commissioner Eileen O’Brien, Commissioner Bruce Stebbins and Commissioner Enrique Zuniga
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) will hold its 251st open public meeting on Thursday, September 13, 2018.
The public meeting will begin with a general administrative update from Executive Director Ed Bedrosian.
MGM Springfield will present a quarterly report and provide the Commission with a status update about its recent opening. The Commission is then expected to vote on MGM’s official Certificate of Operation.
The Commission is also expected to vote on appointments to the Gaming Policy Advisory Committee. Ombudsman John Ziemba will then present the 2019 Community Mitigation Fund Guidelines.
The Licensing Division will seek Commission approval for a Plainridge Park Casino employee and vendor exemption.
Lastly, the Legal Division will request Commission votes to complete promulgation on gaming regulations 205 CMR 135.01 and 205 CMR 140.04.
