WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) will hold its 248th open public meeting on THURSDAY, July 26, 2018.
The meeting will begin with a briefing from Executive Director Ed Bedrosian about ongoing regulatory preparations for the opening of MGM Springfield. The Commission is then scheduled to discuss a recent letter received by Mass Gaming & Entertainment requesting the reconsideration of its Southeastern Massachusetts (Region C) casino proposal.
Researchers from the Cambridge Health Alliance, Division of Addiction will present commissioners with an updated comprehensive evaluation of the GameSense program at Plainridge Park Casino.
Lastly, the Commission is expected to vote on the redesignation of mitigation funding for the Boston Private Industry Council.
