Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on 7/13, TOPICS: Construction Trade Diversity Recruitment Initiative, MGM Gaming School, Licensing Division Quarterly Report and Wynn Pedestrian Bridge Study

WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chairman Stephen Crosby, Commissioner Gayle Cameron, Commissioner Lloyd MacDonald, Commissioner Bruce Stebbins and Commissioner Enrique Zuniga
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) will hold its 222nd open public meeting on THURSDAY, July 13, 2017.
MGC’s Workforce and Supplier Diversity Director Jill Griffin will brief the Commission about a new initiative aimed at increasing diversity in the construction trades. Commissioner Bruce Stebbins in conjunction with representatives from Holyoke Community College will provide a presentation about the MGM Gaming School. It is anticipated that this matter will require a Commission vote.
The Commission is expected to vote on several racing-related reimbursement requests. The Licensing Division will present its Quarterly Report. The Legal Division will ask the Commission to vote on Small Business Impact Statement- 205 CMR 134.00 (gaming vendor qualifier update). Lastly, the Commission will discuss and is expected to vote on the Wynn Pedestrian Bridge Study.
