WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chairman Steve Crosby, Commissioner Gayle Cameron, Commissioner James McHugh, Commissioner Bruce Stebbins and Commissioner Enrique Zuniga
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold an open public meeting on Thursday, April 3rd. The meeting’s agenda will include a briefing from Penn National Gaming regarding their diversity plan for the design and construction phase of Plainridge Park Casino.
The Commission legal staff will also provide commissioners with an update related to the City of Boston and discuss the process on how to proceed on this matter. The Commission is expected to vote on emergency regulations for Monitoring and Pre-Opening. In addition, the Commission will discuss the commercial licensing timeline and schedule for Region C (Southeastern Mass). The Commission will also address requests for variances regarding 205CMR122 Capital Investment and the Region B (Western Mass) arbitration schedule. Lastly, the Licensing Division will provide an update on the Licensing Management System.
