WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chairman Steve Crosby, Commissioner Gayle Cameron, Commissioner Lloyd Macdonald, Commissioner Bruce Stebbins and Commissioner Enrique Zuniga.
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) will hold its 201st open public meeting on Thursday, October 13, 2016.
Executive Director Ed Bedrosian will provide the Commission with a status update on MGC’s Compliance Committee and Region C. Chief Financial and Accounting Officer Derek Lennon will lead a discussion about Wynn’s approved slot machines and gaming positions. In addition, Ombudsman John Ziemba will begin discussions about guidelines for the 2017 Community Mitigation Fund.
The Commission is expected to vote on several Racing Division-related items including Raynham/Suffolk Downs Simulcast payments, Suffolk Downs Capital Fund request and requested make-up days from Plainridge Park Casino.
The Commission is also expected to vote for final approval of 205 CMR 134.00 regarding licensing and regulation. Lastly, the Commission is scheduled to vote on two pieces of proposed legislation pertaining to 2017 Racing and the Gaming Policy Advisory Committee.
