UPDATE: MassGaming releases guidelines and applications for the 2016 Community Mitigation Fund

UPDATE: Due to the importance of a timely filing of the 2016 Community Mitigation Fund Application, the MGC is requesting that an electronic copy be forwarded to Agnes Beaulieu at agnes.beaulieu@state.ma.us after completing the Comm-Buys application process. An application will be considered timely if submitted by the February 1, 2016 5:00 p.m. deadline via e-mail or Commbuys. If you have any concerns regarding the filing of your 2016 Community Mitigation Fund application, please contact Agnes Beaulieu at 617.979.8462 or agnes.beaulieu@state.ma.us.
As part of the effort to help offset impacts that may result from the development and operation of gaming facilities in the Commonwealth, the Massachusetts Legislature created the Community Mitigation Fund as part of the Expanded Gaming Act. Pursuant to the Act, applications for funds are annually due in the beginning of February [February 1, 2016].
