Massachusetts Gaming Commission seeks public input on Community Mitigation Fund FY28 guidelines

The Massachusetts Gaming Commission has recently released a draft of the FY 2028 Community Mitigation Fund (CMF) Guidelines. The Commission is seeking public input ahead of the final review of this draft and is eager to receive feedback from interested parties to properly evaluate the draft guidelines.
With a commitment to an extensive and collaborative process, the Commission is seeking input from the public, the Gaming Policy Advisory Committee, regional planning agencies, host communities, surrounding communities, and other interested parties. This draft includes clarifications and changes proposed by the Commission and Local Community Mitigation Advisory Committees. Guidelines are in draft form until feedback is received.
Please email comments to MGCcomments@massgaming.gov with “FY2028 Guidelines” in the subject line. The Commission will review any comments received prior to the deadline of Friday, October 23, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
