The Massachusetts Gaming Commission has recently released a draft of the FY 2026 Community Mitigation Fund (CMF) Guidelines. The Commission is seeking input from the public ahead of the final review of this draft, and is eager to receive recommendations from interested parties in order to properly evaluate the draft guidelines. At this point, these guidelines are still in draft form and have not been adopted by the Commission.
With a commitment to an extensive and collaborative process, the Commission is seeking input from the public, the Gaming Policy Advisory Committee, regional planning agencies, host communities, surrounding communities, and other interested parties.
This draft includes clarifications, changes, and suggested additional language proposed by the Commission and Local Community Mitigation Advisory Committees.
Solicited comments will assist the Commission in finalizing these guidelines for FY26, once the comment period ends on Friday, October 11, 2024.
