Executive Director Dean Serpa issues letter to sports wagering operators regarding use of AI and machine learning

At the request of commissioners, Executive Director Dean Serpa has issued a letter to Massachusetts’ licensed sports wagering operators regarding their use of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Operators have been requested to detail their use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in a written response to the Commission by November 3, 2026.
