The Massachusetts Gaming Commission requests public comment on the Draft Application to Conduct a New Racing Meeting in 2024. This application is for new applicants seeking licensure by the Commission. Proposed revisions to the 2023 Application are shown in red line.
Comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. Please email comments to mgccomments@state.ma.us with ‘horse racing application’ in the subject line.
The comments received and recommendations of the Racing Division will be reported to the Commission at its public meeting scheduled for August 24. By law, the Applications must be submitted by October 1. The Commission must “grant or dismiss” each application not later than November 15.
