Meeting Notification: MassGaming public meeting on 5/29/14, Topics: building design for proposed resort-casinos, draft surveillance regulations and decision-making process for Region A

WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chairman Steve Crosby, Commissioner Gayle Cameron, Commissioner James McHugh, Commissioner Bruce Stebbins and Commissioner Enrique Zuniga

WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold an open public meeting on Thursday, May 29th.  The Commission is expected to discuss recently submitted public comments pertaining to the exterior design features of the resort-casino proposals, including the facility’s integration with and visual or aesthetic impact on the surrounding community. In addition, the Commission will review draft regulations to govern surveillance systems at the gaming establishments, as well as draft regulations regarding the Commission’s authority to conduct inspections of operations at the gaming establishments. The Commission will also discuss the decision-making process for a license award in Region A (Eastern Massachusetts).
