Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on September 11, 2025; Conference Call Available

Once the meeting is called to order, the Commission will review minutes from January 31, 2024, May 21, 2024, August 15, 2024, July 22, 2025, and August 14, 2025.
The Legal Department will follow with a discussion and review of 205 CMR 115.04: Phase 1 and new qualifier suitability determination, standards, and procedures.
Commissioners then expect to hear from the Racing Department, which will present Plainridge Park’s request to reschedule the cancelled racing days of June 24 and July 29, 2025, to September 26 and November 26, 2025.
The Sports Wagering Division will introduce an event catalog update regarding the removal of the Chinese Football Association.
Community Affairs will round out the meeting with a discussion of the FY2027 Community Mitigation Fund and modifications to Boston’s 2022 and 2023 Community Mitigation Fund grants.
Commissioner Updates are expected to follow, rounding out the meeting.
