WHAT:                The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public meeting #522 on Thursday, June 20, 2024.

Once the meeting is called to order, the Commission will vote on a pair of meeting minutes from MGC meetings previously held on December 6, 2022 and December 7, 2022. Both an Administrative Update and a Legislative Update are expected to follow.

Racing Director Dr. Alex Lightbown will then lead a discussion on the Jockey’s Guild recognition.

The Legal Division is then set to head the ensuing portion of the meeting, where they will cover FBT Everett Realty, LLC v. Massachusetts Gaming Commission and Executive Session minutes ahead of a pair of Executive Sessions.

The Finance Division is then set to lead a discussion on the FY25 Budget approval. Following that, the Legal Division will provide an update regarding the Mashpee Wampanoag litigation.

The Investigations and Enforcement Bureau will then continue a discussion regarding a noncompliance matter related to a Category 3 Sports Wagering Licensee.

That will be followed by the Sports Wagering Division’s portion of the meeting, where they are expected to cover an approval of House Rules from Bally’s, an event catalog addition request for Tomorrow’s Golf League, and a wagering limitation by operator follow-up discussion.

The Communications Division will then present a review of designs for an MGC Seal of Approval. Commissioner Updates are expected to follow, rounding out the meeting.

There is time reserved at the end of the meeting for any other business the Chair did not reasonably anticipate at the time of posting.
