WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chair Cathy Judd-Stein and Commissioners Brad Hill, Jordan Maynard, Eileen O’Brien, and Nakisha Skinner
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public meeting #501 on Thursday, February 15, 2024.
Once the meeting is called to order, the Commission will vote on a series of meeting minutes from previously held MGC meetings from May 2023. An Administrative Update is expected to follow, along with a review and discussion of the Commission’s draft annual report.
The Research and Responsible Gaming Division will present the GameSense Quarterly Report before the Legal Division proceeds with discussions on multiple regulations related to sports wagering.
The Investigations and Enforcement Bureau (IEB) is then set to brief the commission on a number of noncompliance matters related to sports wagering licensees. The Community Affairs Division will follow those discussions up with presentations on quarterly reports from Plainridge Park Casino and Encore Boston Harbor ahead of anticipated executive sessions.
The MGC Legal Division will discuss several matters with the Commission involving the Office of the Attorney General. That will be followed by a discussion on security at casino facilities by the IEB ahead of an expected executive session.
Commissioners Updates are expected to follow, rounding out the meeting. There is time allotted near the end of the meeting for any other business that the Chair did not reasonably anticipate at the time of posting.
