Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on August 30, 2023; Conference Call Available

WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chair Cathy Judd-Stein and Commissioners Brad Hill, Jordan Maynard, Eileen O’Brien, and Nakisha Skinner
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public meeting #475 on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.
After the meeting is called to order, the Commission will review meeting minutes from an MGC meeting previously held on February 2, 2023. Following that, Interim Executive Director Todd Grossman will lead an administrative update.
The Racing Division will then lead the next portion of the meeting, which will cover a review of a racing license application for the opening of a new racetrack.
That will be followed by the Investigations and Enforcement Bureau’s review of a letter to MGM Resorts International regarding MGM Springfield safety and security. An Executive Session is anticipated regarding that matter.
The Legal Division is expected to lead a discussion on Gattineri v. Wynn MA, LLC, et al., which is also likely to be followed by a related Executive Session.
Commissioner Updates are set to follow, rounding out the meeting.
There is also time allotted near the end of the meeting for any other business that the Chair did not reasonably anticipate at the time of posting.
The Commission reserves the right to vote on these or other matters during the meeting.
