WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chair Cathy Judd-Stein and Commissioners Brad Hill, Jordan Maynard, Eileen O’Brien, and Nakisha Skinner
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public meeting #437 on Monday, February 27, 2023.
After the meeting is called to order, the Commission will hold a Marketing Affiliates Round Table Discussion and a conversation regarding 205 CMR 256.01(3) – Sports Wagering Advertising.
The topics of discussion for the Round Table are as follows:
- A description of the industry and its various compensation arrangements and agreements in other jurisdictions.
- Regulation’s implications for the industry and regulated market.
- How marketing affiliates and their compensation arrangements impact the promotion of responsible gaming and consumer choice.
There is time allowed at the end of the meeting for any other business that the Chair did not reasonably anticipate at the time of posting. The Commission reserves the right to vote on these or other matters during the meeting.
