Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on October 22; Conference Call Available

WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chair Cathy Judd-Stein and Commissioners Gayle Cameron, Eileen O’Brien, Bruce Stebbins, and Enrique Zuniga
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public meeting #324 on Thursday, October 22, 2020.
After the meeting is called to order, Executive Director Karen Wells will provide an update on COVID-19 compliance from casino licensees, and Division of Community Affairs Chief Joe Delaney will provide a Host Community update.
General Counsel Todd Grossman and Associate General Counsel Carrie Torrisi will request that the Commission vote on the following:
- 205 CMR 153.00: Community Mitigation Fund – Developed to codify administration of the Fund and to provide express authority and a clear process for assessing administrative costs to the Fund, and Small Business Impact Statement – VOTE to begin the formal promulgation process
- 205 CMR 133.00: Voluntary Self-Exclusion – To ensure uniformity in the process of managing and maintaining the Voluntary Self-Exclusion List, and Small Business Impact Statement – VOTE to begin the formal promulgation process
Members of the MGC’s Division of Community Affairs will discuss policy and initial draft guidelines for the 2021 Community Mitigation Fund.
Commissioner Zuniga will then lead a discussion on review questions for the MGC’s Annual Report.
