Meeting Notification: MGC to hold public meeting on December 20 in Springfield

WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including interim Chair Gayle Cameron, Commissioner Eileen O’Brien, Commissioner Bruce Stebbins and Commissioner Enrique Zuniga
WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) will hold its 257th open public meeting on Thursday, December 20, 2018, in Springfield, Mass.
Executive Director Ed Bedrosian will provide the Commission with a general administrative update and a brief status report about Region C. Executive Director Bedrosian will then lead a discussion that includes an after-action report regarding MGM Springfield’s opening process and a 90-day post-opening review. Representatives from MGM Springfield will also present the Commission with a quarterly report.
Mark Vander Linden, director of research and responsible gaming, will present an updated evaluation of the GameSense program including data from its early performance at MGM Springfield.
The Legal Division will request a commission vote regarding a non-disclosure agreement request from Encore Boston Harbor.
Jill Griffin, director of workforce, supplier and diversity development, will present a 2017 Casino Industry Diversity Impact Report and request a commission vote on a workforce-related grant amendment request.
Lastly, Commissioner Zuniga will present the 2018 MGC Annual Report.
